Jim Fraser is one of the most highly regarded goalkeeper coaches in Australia and has been instrumental in developing the careers of some of Australia's best 'keepers, including Sydney FC's Clint Bolton.

As a player, Fraser was between the sticks when Australia qualified for its one and only World Cup appearance in 1974 but did not go to the World Cup Finals.

He has previously worked with Sydney Olympic and Parramatta Power in the old National League.

Current Australian Under 20 and Queensland Academy of Sport goalkeeper coach, Fernando vas Alves was born in Angola and played the majority of his football in Portugal.

Once on the books of FC Porto, Alves’ playing days were curtailed in his early 20s due to a back injury. He began his coaching career in Portugal before moving to Australia in the late 80s. Spells in Italy and Germany honed his coaching skills before he settled back in Australia.

Listed among his career highlights is his inclusion on the coaching staff for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship finals in the Netherlands where he worked closely with Ange Postecoglou.
